How we test. we open an account ourselves, deposit via Bancontact, request a withdrawal and time every step. The licence check happens at the source, not at the operator and dig through the general terms.
The rules on player protection here run notably strictly by European standards and you feel it on the first deposit. Every licence holder opens your account at €200 per week. Downwards it goes without an intermediate step, raising it needs a check and a waiting period.
Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: a single request is enough to stay out everywhere at once. Unlicensed sites are not connected to it. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; lottery products are the exception at 18. The bar is statutory, not a house rule.
